School Day

Our School Day

The length of the school day is 6 hours and 30 minutes (32 hours and 30 minutes a week) in line with government guidelines

8.00am Breakfast Club opens
At the Base.

9.00am Breakfast Club closes
The Base staff escort Breakfast Club members to their classrooms.

9.00am School Day begins

9.00am School Registration
The first lesson begins immediately after registration. The attendance registers are sent to the school secretary as promptly as possible.

Morning Break
10.30am - 10.45am (time for fruit snack).

Lunchtime
11:45pm - 12:45pm EYFS

11:50pm - 12:50pm KS1 & KS2

Collective Worship
An act of Collective Worship takes place each day.

Afternoon Break (KS1)
2.00pm - 2.15pm.

Home Time
3.20pm Foundation Stage
3.30pm KS1 & KS2.

At home time, infant teachers ensure that their pupils have their personal belongings and see them out of the classroom to the waiting parents and carers.

After School Club
3.30pm The Base After School Club begins extended school provision until 6.00pm.
