We admit children to our Reception Class (Class R) in September of each school year. Children transfer at the age of eleven to a secondary school of their choice.

Our maximum admission limit (MAL) is based on the statutory limit of 30 pupils in Foundation Stage (Reception) and Key Stage One (Year 1 and Year 2). The governors hope that all children living within the school’s catchment area will be granted a place and that, where possible, families outside the catchment area could be accommodated.

However, when applications exceed our MAL then admissions are given careful consideration and are prioritised by the local education authority. Parents have the right to appeal to the local authority if a place at our school is not granted.
